Calculated Power Output
0.0
Watts (W)
This is the theoretical maximum power that can be extracted from the wind under ideal conditions. Real-world turbines typically achieve 30-45% of this value due to mechanical and aerodynamic limitations.
How It Works
This calculator uses the standard wind power formula:
Power (W) = 0.5 × air_density × π × blade_length² × wind_speed³
Wind power generation is highly sensitive to wind speed due to the cubic relationship. Doubling the wind speed increases power output by approximately 8 times!
